Hella Skulestove is idyllically situated on Radøy in Nordhordland, 45 minutes from Bergen. Hella Skulestove offers accommodation, course and conference facilities and pleasant function rooms in a historical old style.

 

OWN TOURING BUS - 15 PERSONS

Hella Skulestove has it’s own touring bus with capacity for fifteen persons. The hosts’ collect guests and also take them on roundtrips in the region.

 

FUNCTION ROOMS

The three function rooms “Søra ståvå”, “Storståvå” and “Den store festsalen” cater for small and large groups of up to eighty persons for meals and other events.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

There is a good selection of activities in the area for children and families, with a large outdoor area with football pitch, badminton and various games.

 

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

There are a good variety of indoor activities at Hella Skulestove with a library at the guests’ disposal and piano entertainment. The lady of the house is a pianist and gladly entertains the guests.

 

LOCATION

E39 from Bergen:
Take the E 39 north to the Nordhordland Bridge and continue to Knarvik. At the roundabout in Knarvik, take a left and follow the RV 57 to Isdalstø. At the roundabout in Isdalstø, take a left and follow the RV 565 to Radøy. Follow the signs for Manger and continue to the sign Hella Skule towards Bøvågen.
E39 from the Sognefjord:
Take the E 39 from the Sognefjord to Knarvik. At the roundabout in Knarvik, take a left and follow the RV 57 to Isdalstø. Take a left at the roundabout in Isdalstø and follow the RV 565 towards Radøy. Follow the signs to Manger and continue to the sign Hella Skule towards Bøvågen.
RV 57 from the Sognefjord:
Take the RV 57 from Rutledal to Sløvåg, the ferry to Leirvåg. Take the RV 57 to Austrheim and then RV 565 to Manger and continue to the sign Hella Skule towards Bøvågen.

 

ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Fedje – a sea anglers’ paradise! Tjorehagen – Rhododendron garden, Vestnorsk Utvandringssenter (West Norway Emigration Centre), Meland Golf & Naturpark (Meland Golf Course), Lyngheisenteret (the Heathland Centre), Knarvik Bowling, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk/Fabrikkutsalg (Hillesvåg Woollen Factory/Factory shop) and Statoil Mongstad oil refinery.
