Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue, mountain lodge and guest house is located halfway between Bergen and the Sognefjord, 350 metres above sea level, in the western section of the Stølsheimen mountains. Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue has accommodation available to suit all needs. It offers bed & breakfast accommodation, runs an outdoor pursuits centre and is otherwise well suited for events, family functions and as a starting point for outdoor pursuits in the Stølsheimen mountains.

During the summer, Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue offers bed & breakfast accommodation to tourists and other travellers. Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue is the perfect stop if you are travelling north through Nordhordland from Bergen, or if you would like to spend a few days in beautiful natural surroundings near Bergen, surrounded by untouched nature in an outdoor environment that is quiet, tranquil and safe.
OUTDOOR PURSUITS CENTRE
Activities in the great outdoors are an important part of the outdoor pursuits centre’s programme. Tuition focuses on natural history and on exploring nature and covers topics such as flora, fauna, nature conservation, first-aid and outdoor pursuits. The centre is surrounded by a varied terrain with mountains, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Social activities are also emphasised through a variety of evening programmes and entertainment. There is a lake nearby where you can hire canoes and boats.
COURSES, CONFERENCES, EVENTS
Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue also lets the centre to groups who wish to organise courses themselves. It is possible for groups to prepare their own meals, but Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue can also organise a stay tailored to meet your company’s needs.
LOCATION
E39 from Bergen:
Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue is approx. a one-hour drive from Bergen. Take the E 39 north across the Nordhordland Bridge and continue from Knarvik in the direction of Oppedal. In Romarheimsdalen, approx. ten kilometres before Matre, turn off right to Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue.
E39 from the Sognefjord:
Take the E39 from the Sognefjord, the Lavik - Oppedal ferry, past Matre to Dyrkolbotn. Follow the signs to Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue.
RV 57 from the Sognefjord:
Take the RV 57 from Rutledal to Sløvåg, then the ferry to Leirvåg. Take the RV 57 to Knarvik, and then follow the E 39 to Romarheimsdalen. Approx. ten kilometres before Matre, turn off right to Dyrkolbotn Fjellstue.
