Holmen Grå island ahead !

THE SHIPPING FAIRWAI from Bergen

The round and gentle island of Håøy lies in the shipping fairway (Den indre farleia) from Bergen.

You are in your boat heading from Bergen in the south to the Nordhordland bridge, Litlebergen and Alverstraumen in Nordhordland.
The boat chugs its way through the inner fairway in Nordhordland, a historical route with associations all the way back to the steamship era.

Nordhordland is a fantastic area for a boating holiday!

The island of Fedje
You can cast anchor in sheltered bays or try your luck at fishing at Holmengrå lighthouse. Calm waters, a lazy swell and the endless horizon await you at Fedje.

The island kingdom of Austrheim

In the island kingdom of Austrheim the boat weaves its way between thousands of small islands and islets, through channels and sounds out towards Vardetangen and back through Kilstraumen.

Sea sluices
You will be sluiced safely through our sea sluices, the Lindåsslusene, into Lindåsosane in the direction of Lindås Brygge.

The Fjords

Back out in the Lurefjorden, you follow the map to Kilstraumen, Fensfjorden, Masfjorden or Austfjorden.

The boat trip continues to idyllic Risnes and the Masfjorden, to idyllic Matre village.
